Mothra Leo

Here is a pic of the first reborn form of Mothra from the movie "Rebirth of Mothra". I actually like this version, especially the patterns and the colors on the wings and the eyes.

I wanted to try out something new this time and develop my drawing skills. A teacher at my school commented on my drawing style. He said that I should try minimizing the amount of strokes when drawing instead of repeatedly drawing and erasing when sketching. It's one of my many bad habits. Luckily I managed to sketch this with fewer strokes than usual, so I'm quite content.

I also wanted to try out water colors and pens, since up until this point I've been drawing most of my pictures with the use of markers. Water colors simply aren’t my cup of tea since I suck at them. But the result is what you see here and as for me I'm happy with it.

I will post a better version of this here once I get the problems with my computer and my scanner fixed.

EDIT(May 21st): YAY! I got my new computer to work as well as my scanner! Happy happy joy joy!
